Anthoupoli 1978, Mr Angelos Stavrinou and his family created a factory which was producing sandals and slippers for abroad. In 1988 the factory was burned, so the partners (family members) decided to close it down and share whatever was worthy.
After that Mr Eleuthrios Lazarou took action. He reestablished the factory and he produced shoes for Middle East countries. But for his bad luck in 1991 the Gulf war began and it was impossible to sell his shoes because of the embargo to Dubai and other Middle East countries. So to face this crisis he opens his own retail store in Anthoupoli with the name Talbot shoes (French word-cleaver,).
Through the year 1991 and 2001 he opened three more shops to satisfy people demands on shoes in other regions. Talbot is now specializing in selling trendy and comfortable shoes for men and women. The company current strategy is to continuously satisfy all stylish needs of customers in Cyprus and abroad.
